Ross Street Patio
The Ross Street Patio is a gathering and entertainment venue in the heart of Downtown Red Deer. Featuring patio furniture and a stage area, the area is recognized for its inviting atmosphere and live entertainment.
A partnership between The City of Red Deer and the Downtown Business Association (DBA), the Patio features free, live music for the Summer and early Fall seasons. We proudly feature talented local musicians and bands that contribute to the amazing atmosphere you’ll find on the beloved Patio. Events are free and open to the public.

Entertainment District
Ross Street Patio, one of Red Deer’s favourite gathering places, has been designated as our city’s first Entertainment District. This means that during specific times, adults may consume alcohol while enjoying live entertainment on the Patio.
Alcoholic beverages must be purchased from vendors within the site and must be consumed within the boundaries of the district. Public intoxication, underage drinking, cigarette smoking or vaping and use of cannabis are not permitted within the district. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into or taken away from the site.
Operating hours: Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 11 p.m.*
* While the Ross Street Patio is open for public use any time, the Entertainment District is restricted to the hours specified above.
