Downtown Wednesday Farmer's Market
Located on Little Gaetz Ave in the heart of Downtown Red Deer, the Downtown Wednesday Market runs every Wednesday evening 3:30-6:30 p.m. The market is an accredited Alberta Farmer’s Market, offering locally produced goods that are made, baked and grown right in Alberta! Regularly available products include meat, fresh vegetables and fruit, and handmade items. Established in 2009, the market was originally located in a parking lot. A much-needed expansion lead to a relocation to 50 Avenue (“Little Gaetz”) and increased the size of the market by 3 to 4 times its original capacity. This season, patrons can expect to find between 20 and 30 vendors each week!
If you’d like to join our market as a vendor, please send us a completed application form. We welcome both seasonal and weekly vendors and approve applications as they arrive throughout the season. Please allow 3-5 business days to process applications.
