Downtown Wednesday Market

Little Gaetz Avenue 50st to 48 st, Red Deer

Located on Little Gaetz Ave in the heart of Downtown Red Deer, the Downtown Wednesday Market runs every Wednesday evening 3:30-6:30 p.m. The market is an accredited Alberta Farmer’s Market, offering locally produced goods. Regularly available products include meat, fresh vegetables and fruit, and handmade items. Established in 2009, the market was originally located in a parking lot. A much-needed expansion lead to a relocation to 50 Avenue (“Little Gaetz”) and increased the size of the market by 3 to 4 times its original capacity. Patrons can expect to find between 15 and 30 vendors each week. The market is operated by the Red Deer Downtown Business Association.

Experience a live theatre circuit that travels through time, telling a story about all of us and our community. Stories at a Museum is being written, produced, directed, and performed by local artists. All funds raised through this event will be directed back to the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery. Tickets are $25 for non-members, $20 for members in advance of September 22nd. $30 for anyone at the door. Stories at a Museum will run for approximately 90 minutes.
