Red Deer Lights the Night

Kick off the holiday season on November 16, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at Red Deer Lights the Night! – a free, outdoor winter festival for the whole family. Featuring live entertainment, a warming tent, children’s games and activities, a winter market, free hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus, this event draws thousands of people to Red Deer’s Downtown core each year! Highlights include the annual illumination of City Hall Park and the lighting of Red Deer’s Christmas Holiday Tree.

This year enjoy hot chocolate, kids activities and live entertainment from the Red Deer Royals Marching Show Band and Jamie Woodfin. Cozy up in the Warming Tent sponsored by State & Main, shop the Winter Market, get you’re picture drawn by caricature artist Dean Foster, get photos with the Ice Queen and Ice Princess, visit with Santa and more!

Proudly presented by Stantec and hosted by The City of Red Deer and the Downtown Business Association, this is an event that’s fun for the whole family!

Winter Market Vendors:

Parking is FREE in Sorenson Station Parkade from 3-8 p.m. and for on street parking stalls through the weekend.
